Head of Humanities Faculty
Peter studied History at King’s College London and before joining ELSS in 2013 was teaching in Kent schools for twelve years. Peter is particularly interested in British Medieval and 20th Century World History. He believes that every pupil should have a broad knowledge of the narrative of British and World History. This knowledge will provide pupils with a greater understanding of the people, city and world around them, preparing them for the challenges of the future.
History allows us to explain the world in which we live in today. History at ELSS places an emphasis on our pupils developing a good chronological knowledge of British and World History from the Middle Ages through to the present day. The Humanities Enrichment Visits complement our studies throughout KS3 and KS4.
