Head of Year 7
Jankoma has been teaching for three years, having previously worked for two schools in the borough of Hackney. Jankoma has had an interest in geography since childhood, wanting to find out about different cultures, countries, and how people live and interact with the environment.
In geography students will have the opportunity to gain a sense of wonder and awe about different places and the processes that underpin them. Geography helps young people to make sense of our continually changing planet. The geography curriculum at ELSS will equip students with a wide range of knowledge about the subject as well as skills such as decision making, enquiry and critical thinking which will be important for them in the future.
